<text>

Donna Marie Theresa Air
Born August 2nd 1979
Natural blonde
Green eyes
Donna can drive, but crashed her first car just a week after buying it

Food & sex are Donna's favourite things, in no particular order!

Donna's childhood nickname was 'Lego Legs'

Donna is right-handed

While attempting to quit smoking, the techniques Donna used included special ear implants to help with the cravings.

Career highlights:

Famous for appearing in Byker Grove alongside Jill Halfpenny and Ant & Dec as Charlie.

Brought back to the public's attention with the launch of MTV UK - the network wanted presenters representing different accents from different regions. Donna's distinctive Geordie tones did the trick as she appeared alongside the likes of Cat Deeley and Edith Bowman.

Other music presenting roles she has taken on include Apocalypse Tube, a one-off resurrection of classic music show The Tube, and the short-lived TV series Pop Gun.

She also, of course, was one half of pop duo Crush, which hit the charts twice in the UK, notably with Jellyhead (which fellow MTV presenter Sarah Cawood bought, before the two had ever met) and, Donna says, were very popular in Japan.

Her own game show followed, as Donna took the helm of The Cooler, a Generation Game format given a slightly grown-up interpretation and which no doubt had an in-from-the-pub following thanks to its late-night slot on Challenge TV.

On the big screen, minor roles in The Mummy Returns and Still Crazy were followed by a supporting role in short movie Truth or Dare, with Donna finally achieving top billing in 2008 with the release of independent movie Bad Day.

Meanwhile, TV fans have seen her in character in anything from Catherine Cookson's A Dinner of Herbs to Lynda LaPlante's Supply and Demand, with guest appearances on a variety of chat shows and panel shows.

Donna has expressed support for a number of charities over the years, including:

Children North East - In 2005 it was revealed that Donna was to serve as celebrity ambassador for the charity, which offers assistance to disadvantaged young people in the north-east of England.

The Soil Association - In October 2006, Donna became the official face of the organisation for the duration of Organic Fortnight, which saw a range of health-conscious events take place nationwide.

World Vision - In January 2007 Donna hosted the organisation's annual media breakfast, addressing those in attendance on the achievements of the charity over the previous 12 months.

WWF - Donna took part in the "I'm a celebrity... Get it out of me!" study by the nature charity, which examined the levels of toxins in the blood of eight celebrity participants.

No doubt we could go on, but those are some of the highlights of Donna's charity work over the years.
